Broken Backlink Audit

The purpose of the Broken Backlink Audit is to regain lost link equity from broken backlinks. Google will only value equity passed between links that are “live,” meaning 200 or 301 status (with the final destination returning a 200 status). However, many websites have broken pages that have gone 404 that do have high quality links pointing to them. This audit hopes to uncover these.
